"Listen, God can accomplish his dreams without me, especially without me; but this calling, at the very minimum, is non-negotiable and worthy of everything I have to give...or give up!"

Quote from Bart

When you first see Bart, you'll probably mistake him for just another high school student. Growing up as a child of the 80's, Bart was riddled with energy, parent-teacher meetings, and talking way too much. 12 years ago, that all seemed to translate quite well as he entered the world of youth ministry as a pastor in the local church.  And immediately, a mission for students as well as families began to stir in his heart.  But, the next 6 years would be a journey quite different than expected - full of wounds, depression, anxiety, and a broken marriage - but from the bottom up, there’s a powerful story of God’s restoration and redemption.

Now, 6 years into that new life and ministry, that mission Bart knew was stirring in his heart has taken shape through the ministry Bart founded, called KINGDOM DRIVEN, that’s urgently going after the lives and homes of students and parents. Turning in his resignation, after 12 years in the local church, Bart and his wife are risking their reputation, their security, and their standard of living to pursue Kingdom Driven full-time.

As a sought after speaker in many types of environments - from children’s camps to senior adult events - Bart's fresh style and unique ability captures the attention of any audience and locks it in. The combination of his passion, story-telling, and compelling use of the Scriptures inspires people, sharpens their hearts, and provokes action. Bart’s journey to walk like Jesus, his story of struggle, broken relationships, and redemption as a teenager and pastor are woven together with over a decade of experience in student ministry that drives him to see parents and teenagers willing to abandon everything so they can be a catalyst for changing the world; a movement that's advancing the Gospel of God's Kingdom.

Bart and his wife Melissa live in Memphis, TN.  Before pursuing the ministry of Kingdom Driven full-time, Bart served for the past 4 years as the Pastor to Students at a young church-plant started by Germantown Baptist Church, called TLC (The Love of Christ) Church along with Senior Pastor, Dana Key, and Worship Pastor, Clay Crosse.  During these 4 years, Bart experienced a church of 18 single adults grow to over 500, full of families, and with close to 100 middle school & high school students.
