THE MISSION:
To see Christians become the force at the forefront of culture thats leading the Church and changing the world for God's Kingdom!
THE MOVEMENT:
WE PRAY for students & parents to be inspired by the mission, so much, that a movement is swept in by the Spirit of God that will restore the value of God, His Word, and His Kingdom back to the Church, homes, and culture.
THE NAME:
Kingdom Driven is simple, urgent, provokes the heart, defines the movement, and combines discovery and redemption.
EVERYTHING WE DO IS ABOUT: (in no particular order)
Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17:21
- God's Kingdom is present TODAY and in the FUTURE
- Every Christ-follower has been given a role to play in the advancement of God's Kingdom
Making the Gospel of Jesus known
"For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified."
1 Corinthians 2:2
- The Example of Christ is the standard by which the content of our teaching and experiences are measured
Restoring the authority & influence of God's Word
"For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword...
it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." Hebrews 4:12
- The authority of God's Word in or WHOLE LIVES offers restoration and authority
- In all preaching, training, or coaching - the influence & power of Gods Word is communicated
Maximizing the Influence of teenagers and students
"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering
God's grace in its various forms." 1 Peter 4:10
- Propelled by God's Word and His Mission, teenagers are the force that can change the world
- Helping parents, youth pastors, and schools have the influence to maximize the gifts of teenagers
Creating Experiences that inspire Action
"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father
in spirit and truth..." John 4:23
- Our experiences have many elements, including teaching, but we don't teach "seminars." We believe in making what we do an opportunity for the people of God to experience the Glory of God.
- We are seeking people to be moved by the urgency of God and led to action. This is far greater than merely alone offering information or providing a program or event
Supporting parents as the primary agents of God in their kids lives
We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation, the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done. He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our forefathers to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands. Psalm 78:4-8
- Helping parents find the center of God-exalting vision in their homes.
- Teaching parents how to gain the momentum for transfering the truth of God's Word to their children.
- Motivate parents to create "missional-thinking" children that are passing influence down through generations.
Supporting the Church & it's leaders as they shape COVENANT COMMUNITY for the whole family
"Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who
belong to the family of believers." Galatians 6:10
- Not only do we believe in the local church, we believe in the Biblical responsibility a local fellowship has to respond with might to the needs of parents, not just teenagers.
- We're teaching churches to pursue a Biblical response to the needs of parents. Pop-Culture must not shape our motive OR be the motive for making an investment in ministry to parents.
- We pursue and go after youth leaders because we are youth leaders and we believe in the God-exalting role they play in changing the world.
