Children & youth ministries all over the country are experiencing larger than normal attendance. The potential for a vast movement of teenagers leading the future Church and changing the world is very high. And, most onlookers and attendance records would agree that things have never been better; but, really, have they?
At the same time this is happening, parents are being swept by this tidal wave of cultural frenzy and busyness. And, while some have "looked the other way" or surrendered intentionally, most have unconsciously justified and surrendered to churches the job of raising their children to love God and be on mission for Him. The roles and priorities have been flipped from the calling that we see in the Scriptures.
Take a look at your student ministry or your school: For every four teenagers learning to serve Jesus today, only one will be doing so ten years from now.
